Twenty years instudio building reputation for wildlife art in a hyper-realistic manner led to a near decade's exodus to painting on-location outdoors. The result has been a loosening of my style & joyous discovery of celebrating life thru paint. Of late, I've had my urges to paint some wildlife once again, the challenge to treat the subject with that same joy and simplicity I've found in the landscape- namely...impressions "simply stated!"

Pretty cool Dad, I like the idea of having a seperate blog for your wildlife, great idea!
thanks...
people tend to categorize the artist. Funny, I remember someone seeing one of my sporting portraits and their response was.."OOooh, I didn't know you could paint portraits too!" that was back when I was more known for my wildlife art.
Some don't get it that a good eye, and knowledge of handling paint frees you to do nearly any artistic expression.
At any rate..this just might help me manage my own interests better...and reach the right interest groups.
thanks kiddo...!!
